Foxconn Planning To Hire 1 Million Robots

Monday, August 1, 2011

Foxconn plans to replace the house, it is difficult to work with the manufacturers about one million human robots, the number, if you think this is a reaction volumes about the current state of post-production talk.

Estimated to be 10,000 robots in the factory today, and the number increased to 300,000 next year. Terry Gou, Foxconn CEO plans one million engines by 2014. The company currently has 1.2 million people.

The important thing to note here that most of the repetitive tasks associated with the production of component placement, the completion of the case, the application of decals and painting, and testing - is all by hand. Although we believe that the LED industry, the large transformer robots that can be fully reflected in a poor satire of silicon in human reproduction, people involved in almost every phase iPads. We are literally, not far from the industrial revolution here.

When the hands that once we wrap geegaws fail if the robots? Probably the unemployment line, the subject is quite different. Hopefully not in violation, but any serious work at the time applicable to mass saving is entered correctly. Just ask Detroit.
