D.B. Cooper Suspect: FBI Investigating 'Credible Lead' In 40-Year-Old Airline Hijacking

SEATTLE - The FBI says it has "credible" pilot for DB Cooper, a 1971 kidnapping involved passenger plane over Washington State and parachute to escape the suspicion of the legendary.

Dietrich Sandalo s FBI spokesman told the Seattle Times that a member of the police investigators are sent to a person with useful information about the defendants.

Dietrich said that what the man belonging to the laboratory in Quantico, Virginia, conducted for forensic testing. He did not detail the item or the identity of the man.

Federal investigators have shown over 1000 as a result, a hacker nicknamed "DB Cooper" from the flight to the dollar ransom of $ 200,000 in a parachute.

His fate is still unknown, although the Seattle Post Intelligencer reports that officials believe that before he died on the night he jumped.
